Hi, I am currently starting divorce proceedings DIY style. I have the divorce petition completed and ready to sent to the courts.

I plan to use wikivorce for a simple Clean Break order.

Should i send the papers to the court first and then apply for the clean break order?

Need a little help on when to do what......

Very simple divorce - We have no assets to split, we never owned a home together both of our cars on on separate finance plans and no children. was a short marraige BIG mistake of a marriage.

If someone could please let me know the order to get things moving that would be great

Its probably best to start both at the same time, so the Consent Order can`t be sent to court until the court give you the Decree Nisi (half way stage) but the consent order takes a while to write up and be signed by you both.

So if you want this to be seamless start them both together.

Thank you - Wanted to make sure that the papers were signed before i started anything - Have just received the Decree Nisi papers to sign through but in the top right hand corner there is a box with FEE CHARGED/ REMISSION ID. what do i fill in here?

I am going to start the clean break with wikivorce on Saturday!
