Confusion over D80a

FFS. The worst bit about getting divorced isn't the not inconsiderable emotional and financial drain, it's the cocking admin!
PLEEEEEEASE can someone help me? I'm the petitioner, now applying for the Decree Nisi. I have to complete form D80/statement in support.
All is fine except when I get to the very last bit. There are a couple of tickbxes. The first is easy enough, saying that I'm asking the court to grant a decree dissolving my (TICK) marriage.

The second is a tickbox next to "and (provided you have applied for costs in your petition for divorce/(judicial separation) to order the respondent to pay the costs of this application."

I'm not asking the respondent to pay (we sorted it out between ourselves), so I haven't asked for costs at any stage.
My question is: do I need to tick the box, anyway? I haven't applied for costs, so the respondent wouldn't have to pay. But do I have to tick the box, nevertheless?

I would say, if you don't want a costs order, don't tick the box.
