The guide on this site is badly out of date. For example in step one:

divorce.wikivorce.com/guides-divorce/how...-initial-checks.html

Section (c) the longest is now completely unnecessary.

There are mistakes elsewhere too.

If it cannot be updated it should be removed or people are going to be mislead.

Thank you, your explanation is very clear and helpful.

Could you not add a note to the top of the current one explaining it is out of date for applications (if that is the right word) made after March?

It came up in a search so people so my concern is that it might mislead people who did not know about the changes yet.

I'm just a lowly moderator, I don't have the facility to edit the webpages.

I did speak with the web manager today who have said they are working hard to make the required changes to the guide.

The current guide still needs to be available as there will be many people still using the "old" law for their divorce and may need to access it for information.
