Applied for the divorce and coming to the end of the 4 month wait, and I'm a bit confused as to next steps. The more I read the more confused I get!

To apply for a conditional order do I now have to fill in the D84 form?

We have already split savings and I'll be buying him out of the house in January. We agree to the % split. So do we just need a Consent Order drawn up? And submit with a D81 form?

If we agree, then we don't need to do a financial order, a consent order is enough? Reading the form it says we have to do mediation meetings, which we don't need?

One last thing, the house evaluation on the D81 form, does that come from the mortgage company?

I'm thinking about just sucking it up and booking a 1 hour meeting with a solicitor next week, but I really begrudge paying £180!

You should get notice of when the conditional order can be applied for. There is advice and guidance on the gov.uk website. We have a free helpline at Wikivorce - you can book a call using the green button. This site also offers a consent order service which is very cost effective if you have a agreement already. There's no need to do mediation if you agree. It is wise to check the agreement is fair. You can use our legal financial consultation for this.
The house value is what you have agreed. If you aren't sure you may need to get some estate agents round
