Meidation Report was created by kirstyg1234

I hope someone can answer this question for me.

Is it possible for Mediation to write a report or provide information regarding the hostility of one of the parents attending mediation…

The reason I ask is…

My partner and his STBX have been attending mediation for just over 5 months.

To date no progress has been made or agreements reached as his STBX will not negotiate or discuss any of the issues raised. To the point where the mediator said that she felt there was very little that mediation could offer them.

However all communication from he solicitor and the information prepared for the courts, states how she is willingly attending mediation…whilst she may be attending she is certainly not engaging.

Thank you

Mediation is a pre-cursor to getting legal aid. The applicant has to get a tick in the box, to say mediation has been tried.

If she won't play ball, then nothing can be done. On to the next stage.

Sometimes people try to do mediation too soon after the split, when emotions are still running high abd resentments are very strong,

The mediator will eventually say there is nothing more that they can offer and close the file, although it can be re-opened later.
