my exs started to divorce me last year and didnt fight it as I am happy in another relationship. after months he still hasnt applied for a Decree Absolute. I have filled in and sent back every form I have had but nothing, I believe he may have got wind of the fact that my partner and I would like to get married. I have conacted the court and they have sent me a form to apply for the Absolute myself but I have no idea how to fill it in!!!! its asking about how long the judge will need ect. I have form d11 and d36

It is a formal resolution of the finances of your marriage.

Yes technically you can apply for the Absolute using that form, but whether that is a good idea or not is another matter. Courts tell you the procedure, not whether it''s advisable or not.

When you say "sorted" do you mean signed and sealed by a court? Or just done informally between you?
