Hi - I am trying to fill in form E - nearly there .. but I haven''t received 2 of the valuations for the house or my one pension cash entitlement figure ...

We are due to exchange on tuesday - IF I don''t have those things, do I wait?

IS it a legal requirement to exchange at that date or can it be a couple of days late?

I would also like it to be seen by my solicitor, so I can sign it etc ... she is away (!)

thanks for any advice.

Are you exchanging form E voluntarily or as part of the court process?

That doesn''t really answer the question. Is this a voluntary exchange of form E, or is it a court ordered exchange of form E?

If it''s for court then I wouldn''t worry too much, everyone hands in their form E late. Sometimes even the day before the FDR.

If it''s a voluntary exchange then just tell your ex or sol that you want to delay it a few days to gather the last few bits of info.

Not too worry confused, just so you know this is court, not informal, your form E is sworn and exchanged before the first appointment (FDA).

Hand over what you have on the date your supposed too, the stuff you don`t have just right "to follow" in the box`s, as Cookie said these forms are often exchanged late for many reasons, just do your best that is all you can do.
