i applied for my Nisi about 3 weeks ago, can i contact the courts to see if it has been granted yet? i dont have a case number or should i just wait until the solicitors contact me ? do the courts mind if the Petitioner contacts them Thankyou

If you have a solicitor they may not speak to you, generally that will be the first question they ask and when you say yes i do they will tell you to ask the solicitor.

Your case number is the same as on any of the paperwork from court, so you could try just call and say can i give you my case number to see when the Nisi will be decreed.

No harm in trying and no they wont mind.

Thankyou, took the bull by the horns so to speak and have just contacted the courts, they have said the papers are all in order and the judge has okd them, they are waiting now for a listings date!! which should be in about 10 days time as they are running slighlty behind!! fantastic am well chuffed. thanks for your reply x
