What do you mean there is a problem?

My stbx has been causing me severe stress with things he has either made up, done etc.. i have noted everything down and told my solicitor about these.

I feel like it''s all against me and nothing is being done.

I just hope that my solicitor does more.

You have 8 days to return a Petition after 6 weeks i would think its not going to happen and you may need to have it served, sounds odd that any solicitor would just leave this without chasing it up or warning is service is required in some circumstances you can claim your costs back, UB and adultery.

Thank you for your reply.

Mine is UB.

Seriously my STBX has caused so much hassle.

STBX has forced me out of my own home.

I am still paying half of all the bills including the mortgage. STBX is paying nothing.

Looks like i am going to have to get papers served on stbx then.

My solicitor has faxed and posted letters to stbx''s solicitor and has had no reply. My solicitor has told stbx''s solicitor that the kind of behaviour stbx has been doing has to stop. Not one single reply which i find very odd.

Solicitors usually show professional courtesy to each other, a lack of reply may mean they no longer represent him, even then one would think they would relay this.

Ask your solicitor what cost for deemed service, and bear in mind wiki offer the service for £480, i`d be asking for your costs given you seem to be dealing with a plank.

That''s very helpful, thank you.

''Plank'', didn''t even open his mail at the best of times, so i knew i was going to be in for a rough ride with the divorce process.

I will speak with my solicitor first thing tomorrow.

I, like you would have thought that two solicitors would have communicated a bit better than what it seems to have been at the moment.

Yes they will get more money from me but surely they wouldn''t let this drag out too long.

The one and only letter that my solicitor received from stbx''s solicitor, they mentioned that they would pay half my costs.

Thanks again!

Don`t take it for granted the solicitor won`t allow this to go on, what have they done in six months?, bugger all, i would kick them into touch and use another solicitor.

This should have been over and finished by now if they did the job properly, your still right at square one, i take it your solicitor is legal aid.

No he is not legal aid.

I have forked out quite a bit already.

I''m so confused as i have no idea what is going on.

My solicitor has been on holiday and is due back tomorrow. He said when he returns if he has had no reply he will get a court order.

I just want to be free from my stbx.

I appreciate the stress divorce causes everyone, but never ever in a million years did i think i would be getting some much grief. I told stbx that i wanted a divorce, he has gone all out to try and make my life hell. He has almost succeeded.
