The truth is that I submitted cross Petition however the judge (at residence order proceedings) said that why me paying costs and I have acknowledged the divorce petition.

My ex threatens me that he will tell my employer what a horrible person I am and even said that he will advise our daughter''s nursery

I am really worried that he will also use this against me during final hearing in child proceeding (althought it is said that two cases are separate) but still...

Yes and I have been issued to pay 50% of petition fee

To be clear he cannot make known what was written in the divorce application, it is a privileged application, if he does he will be subject to prosecution.

Financial hardship is your best bet, assuming that it applies.

To be completely honest, you were lucky not to get saddled with 100% of the costs never mind 50%. The value of that 50% has to be determined which may by done at the upcoming hearing.
