I would be grateful if people could cast their expert eye over the draft below for a Wiki member who has asked me to post this on their behalf.

The Petitioner has not enjoyed a physical or intimate relationship with the Respondent since August 2011, and have had separate bedrooms since that date. He has indicated by his manner and behaviour that he has no wish to spend any time with her. This has made the Petitioner feel unloved and unattractive.

The Respondent is habitually and excessively critical of the Petitioner, commenting on her abilities as a wife in a manner calculated to cause the Respondent to feel belittled and humiliated.

Since January 2011 the Respondent has continually refused to attend family holidays with the Petitioner; instead the Respondent chooses to have separate holidays and weekends away, usually without informing the Petitioner beforehand. This makes the Petitioner feel abandoned and alienated from the Respondent.

Since July 2011, the Respondent does not assist with the running of the house, refuses to help with the gardening, or to pay for much-needed repairs to the marital home. This behaviour is on-going. This makes trying to sell the Marital home almost impossible and causes the Petitioner much distress. The Petitioner feels unsupported and unappreciated in her efforts to keep the house and garden in a useable state.

Since July 2011 the Respondent refuses to socialise with the Petitioner, choosing instead to lead a completely separate social life, to the exclusion of the Petitioner. The Respondent is secretive in relation to his personal movements and refuses to discuss the Petitioner''s concerns with her. This leaves the Petitioner feelings insignificant and alone.

The Respondent has behaved in such a way that the Petitioner cannot reasonably be expected to live with the Respondent.
The said marriage has broken down irretrievably.

Its weak, the real problem is the dates used are over a year old, it could well be refused on that basis alone, maybe substitute the dates for "recently".

The Respondent is habitually and excessively critical of the Petitioner, commenting on her abilities as a wife in a manner calculated to cause the Respondent to feel belittled and humiliated.

Could the lady offer an example?.

I know it''s rather weak - but it''s what the member has given me to work with :(

I will suggest changing the historical dates with the word "recently", and see if she can provide stronger examples.

Thank you x
