Living arrangements was created by Manya
Hello all,

I have recently applied for divorce based on unreasonable behaviour. My husband is currently staying with his family (it was a temporary arrangement), but will be moving back in. I can't stop him, as we jointly own the property.

He will be moving in with his stepson. I have been told that I also don't have much power to stop it.

I have nowhere to go.

Now, the question.. does anyone have any suggestions or tips on sharing accommodation during divorce? We also have a small baby..

Obviously we'll be sleeping in different bedrooms. Should we be buying food separately?

I can't really go shopping now because of the covid and was relying on my sister to do it for me.
When my husband is back, I would assume that he does the shopping. Do we share it?

What about energy bills?

If I buy my own food, what about the baby, who is breastfeeding? As the baby basically eats what I eat and the husband doesn't contribute towards the food, can i claim maintenance?
