What is it you are trying to achieve? The case you mention does not accord with the subject of your post. In Pilbrow, the firm of solicitors provided a service but the client was not liable to pay as he specifically asked for a solicitor but a non-solicitor took on his case.

Hi Charles - my case is the same. I went to a certain firm of solicitors and asked for a solicitor to represent me as my previous firms of solicitors were not representing me correctly. They assigned someone to me but did not tell me that she was not a qualified solicitor. Due to lack of knowlege on the process and responsibilities i was poorly represented. I have been told that i have to present my case and other precedents to support my claim for the invoice to be challenged.
