Hi there,
I am really looking for a little help. I am struggling to know how to complete the D11 form to request that the courts allow me to use my husbands email address to serve him papers as he is refusing to give me the address of where he is living in south america. I am unclear of what boxes to complete or how to, If anyone can advise I would be truly grateful, single mum of three and cant really afford solicitors fees. Found submitting the application for divorce so much easier. Help please

It's hard to explain without the form in front of me but put simply you just need to explain in very simple terms what you want the court to order and why - just as you have in your post

Technically you should submit a draft order but if you are LIP I think the court would be fine without it.

If you have any evidence you can use to support your application, it can be attached. You may want to write a short statement to back up your request.

This is a matter that can be dealt with on paper and it won't take more than 30 mins of a judge's time.

If you need some help and can't afford a solicitor, you may want to look at our divorce consultant service. We have consultants with extensive experience of supporting people who are self repping through the court process.

Sorry for the jargon. LIP is litigant in person it's the term used for someone who is representing themself rather than using a solicitor.
