I am in the final stages of my divorce. The financial order which we agreed between us has been sent to the court.
I can apply for the Decree Nisi from 19th April.
my spouse is keen to get the decree asap as she has plans to remarry.
is there any detriment to me if i apply for it before the financial order is agreed by the Court?

A Decree Nisi/conditional order does not end the marriage.
For that you need a Decree Absolute/final order.

You cannot have a legally binding financial order until the Decree Nisi/conditional order is in place.

It is wise to wait until the financial order is approved before finally dissolving the marriage. However if there are no substantial pensions or assets that aren't in joint names it may not be a problem. Without knowing more about the circumstances it is hard to advise.

Have you had legal advice on the settlement? If you have and the Consent Order is properly drawn up you should be OK.
