When people try to reach an agreement without providing full disclosure you either accept what you can get or you can issue proceedings. It costs £275 and the first automatic direction is that the parties exchange forms E which have to be signed by the parties as being true.

Perhaps for the sake of obtaining a truer position it might be worthwhile issuing an application?

The parties can settle at any point and very few cases go to final hearing.

Thank you.
Yes form E has been exchanged however is a true reflection I’m not sure. Seems strange they can’t just show proof the shares are going to be lost then I’ll move along.

If you are not in the court process the 'truth' has to be a matter of trust. In the court process you are legally obliged to be truthful. Questions have to be answered honestly and transparently. You can ask the court for further assistance such as orders to provide specific information through a third party approach to the company if necessary.
As such a large sum is involved it may well be worth the investment of a court application.
