I have my Decree Nisi. There is also an order for cost which states the judge orders the respondent to pay the petitioners (me) costs, such costs to be agreed and if not agreed to be subject to detailed assessment by the court.
I'm confused does that mean I should get my costs paid by the respondent (husband). And will that just be for the decree nisi, and not include any costs I have accumulated for the financial agreement? This is also going to court. Thanks

He has to pay any costs associated with the divorce application only - so the court fee of £593 and any solicitor costs incurred for the petition. This is usually paid upon Decree Absolute and you or your solicitor will need to send him details of the amount he is due to pay.

Usually each party is responsible for their own costs in financial remedy proceedings.
