The wife filed for divorce at the end of April 2022. Both parties agree to a divorce. Nisi decree was issued on March 3, 2023. The court attributed this 25-week delay to the recent passage of a no-fault divorce law. The wife did not file for absolutely the decree. I don't know why because we don't talk. I plan to do this as a defendant after 4 months after the Nisi Decree. Today I called the court and was told that the adoption will take 6 to 8 weeks or more. So my divorce by mutual agreement will take a year and a half. I want to get married, what can I do to speed up the divorce process?
