My ex wife and I have so far been unable to agree on a financial resolution, she has said repeatedly that she is going to take me to court but to date has not. She tells me that she is waiting on a court date but neither me nor my solicitor has actually had any confirmation that she has applied to court. Does it really work like that,,or is she being untruthful? Can she simply apply to court and then just give me a date at some point? Doesn’t sound like a proper procedure to me.
