Final Order not accepted as proof of divorce

Good afternoon, my ex and I finalised our divorce last month and received the final order in our online portal as well as a confirmation email. I went to my bank today, and they rejected downloaded and printed copies of the final order as insufficient proof of divorce. They said they would only accept something called a divorce decree.

My understanding is that in divorces since April 2022, the final order is the legal confirmation of a divorce. Can you please let me know if this is incorrect or advise generally on how I can prove I'm divorced in England? Thank you.

It sounds like the bank is not up to date with the changes in the divorce process. I think this is probably a question for their customer services.
