This has made me laugh as I was tested several times when at junior school and the agregate score that I got was ..... (private) but that I was not someone who could join MENSA :(I was close:)

I don''t know right now where that gets me, or you or wikivorce as personally i have shied away always from being a part of a club.

That is why I like Wiki so much, I like the different points of view, I like the collective mentality but most of all I like the intelligence of so many that contribute to this site.

Ian, you may not be a genious, how can we say, but what i can personally say is that I believe that you have made an outstanding contribution to not just family law but all Law in UK. I just hope that in the longer term you will not be disapointed in your good faith.

As I have had a few drinks (and am about to have a coffee) here''s to wiki, to what collaboratively we represent but most importantly to Ian, to the moderators who work behind the scenes and to all of us weaklings and protestors who post here on wiki with our aspirations, our concerns and our dreams for the future (ok I have had a bottle of wine).:)

I am definitely a genius...

My ex has said to me several time ''oh you''re such a genius aren''t you?''

So I guess that makes me a genius.

I took the Mensa IQ tests about 10 years ago. I scored 144 on the Cattel B test and 121 on the Culture Fair test. The entry criteria were 148 and 128 respectively, so I''m not a genius/member of Mensa.

For anyone that is not a member of Mensa, you are automatically entitled to membership of Densa, the low IQ society.

IQ tests might be a measure of intelligence, but I''ve known some very high IQ people who would struggle to walk to the shops on their own without being hit by a car or something similarly daft.

I would give up all my ''bonus'' IQ points to have a bit more common sense!

Hi Uc

As you might probably be aware you do not need to be a member of a club either to be stupid (subjective) or a genius (subjective) you just either have to pass the test or be sensible enough to realise that even if you are stupid or super intelligent it does not mean you are either an interectual superior or an interlectual inferior.

I think most people are more intelligent than a test would imply. We are all more intelligent than monkeys - apparently.
