Can I discharge a non-molestation order?

Hello. Can anyone advise me please whether or not i can discharge a non-molestation order against my partner? We have been apart for 6 months now and i feel he is a changed person. Do I need to fill in some sort of application form? What is the process? Please help.

Was the original order made for a fixed length of time? If so it might just be worth waiting for it to time out.

If not or you don''t want to wait that long you can apply to court to have it amended or discharged.

Why do you want it removed though and would your ex be in agreement or are they happy with it?

I feel that my ex has learnt his lesson...he has changed so much...he has definently shown that he is ''normal'' person... i just want things to be as they were... we have agreed to sort things out, but we are scared because of the non molestation order. What application form do I need to fill in from the courts?

I''m not sure there is any reason to be scared because of the order and it may be as well to leave it in place at least until arrangements have been agreed.

It''s quite common NMOs to expire after 6 months. What are the terms of the order and was it imposed by the judge or settled with undertakings?
