Blimey things change quickly.

Having recently set up a new London Drinks event for those people who did not get a ticket for the official Wiki London do, I have just found out that people without tickets can now turn up for the after dinner party at Wiki London after all. Hey Ho. Never mind.

So I thought, what the hell, let's have another unofficial London Drinks evening anyway.

This one's planned for Saturday 27th September, which I realise clashes with a Manchester meet up, but is the only Saturday that I can make for a while, so it's just gonna have to be then.

The format will be the same (or very similar) to previous trips, meeting in or around Covent Garden at 6pm for drinks, followed by a meal at around 8pm, and then more drinks, with the possibility of some clubbing for the younger / fitter / madder (delete as appropriate) crowd.

Please feel free to sign up for this on the event's page, and if you feel like it, reply to this post to keep it active.

As always, I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi f03,

I couldn't resist your invitation to keep this post active.

Have you decided which variety of potato to bring for WikiLondon?

YA,
as it is London (not known for its potato growing culture or capabilities), you can be assured that it will be vastly inferior to the Dolphin-nosed potato that is grown, supplied and cooked in Lancashire ;)

..and I thought Lancashire was known for the fine quality of its' Sausage?

Having eaten dirt, and divorced the Potato; I'm up for digging again. However, have provisionally been invited to another 'do' that day, so not sure yet. Could do that early; and meet up with Wiki-peeps for dwinkies later?

Someone keep me posted.

:kiss:count me in Fo3 - definitely interested in the clubbing - however a bit worried that as i am neither young or fit, the reason for me wanting to go clubbing must be that i am mad!!!! :woohoo:

btw thanks for organising it fo3
