Now if I use Firefox at work it sometimes does that but not with google I think it is to do with cookies and settings

Clearing history would normally clear this - Which browser are you using? Have you tried viewing the forum with an alternate browser?

It''s worthwhile doing regular "housekeeping" on a computer, and deleting the cache on a regular basis.
