texted him this morning (couldn't stop thinking about him) asked if he had my boxes and packaging ordered yet (for move out of army house he has to organize move). He replied "still waiting on answer will chase up again" to which I replied "thanks I have to be out by...then added a x! did this hoping he would know that I still care for him even though he did the dirty and is still with her (don't know if its because he is really into her or because he doesn't want to be on his own she is in London he is Edinburgh) thinking he would reply but didn't why do I keep doing this as if he cares????:blink::blink:

You are not sad. I have done the same; I think most of us have at some point. I'm now going down the no contact what so ever route; for my own sanity. It's not easy. It's really difficult!!!
You have a great sense of humour. You really made me laugh tonight in chat. Thanks!

Hey dont bit yourself about it, you are not sad at all. You are just going with your feelings and sometimes its easier to give in than to fight them.

Been there done that, you will stop. I must say though i find it hurt just a bit more if you dont get a satisfactory reply. Big hug!

Take care
M

I read just now that you cant just switch yr heart off. But you shouldnt inflate his ego anymore than it is. He currently has 2 women in his life chasing him. Hope he loves Mr Kipling cakes. C

What does he do with your love when you send it to him? Does he reply with kisses and hugs??

Be strong honey, it is still hard for me not to finish messages to stbx without a x, but everytime I do, I feel better within myself and I know that his heart hurts a little each time I send him a text/email and keep it professional and short.

Ego trip for him when he thinks that I'm still in love with him and can't cope without him and must be dying inside without him.

(All of the above may be true, but bugger me if I'll let him know that) If you ignored him and treated him the way he treats you, his attitude would change. It's easy for him to hold you at arms length if he knows that you will always be there waiting for him.

Love and hugs to you

Always here if you need me

Not sad Biff, just a bit confused or mixed up perhaps.
There's always a part of us that doesn't want to let go, although we should and must for our own well being.

My stbx ends e-mails with a single kiss to let me know "she still cares" despite the fact she effectivly made me walk out on her. I try to ignore them but in the back of my mind I think she too is a bit mixed up.
