The police served a harassment warning on my exs girlfriend and it did the job!

Maybe she doesntwant texts from you even if they are about the kids - maybe she feels they are harassment. So just stop sending texts and you should be okay.

I think the problem is when people need to contact each other about the kids, maybe your partner should be the one doing the contact (text or email) and you should take a step back and leave them to it.

I also am surprised people can complain to the Police about women breastfeeding (TomAdams post) - :ohmy:luckily I haven''t had one of them yet!

In Divorce and separation where there are children involved and arrangements need to be made and things to do with the kids need to be discussed - its a shame both parents can''t put their battles to one side and focus on the kids best interests.

It takes a lot to move forward and put stuff behind you, if thats not possible do as little as possible to aggravate the situation.

Guess it comes down to tolerance levels, it takes a lot to get to me, I can brush off a lot and dismiss it as the rantings of the ex and have never thought to report this as harassment. Maybe I should in the future and maybe the ex would not be so quick off the mark to fire off another complaint. But to be honest I think the police have ahard enough job without false accusations of harassment to make a point that they didnt like the text/email/phonecall etc... As I have never signed anything I guess I dont have a warning and from what I read they are worthless anyway. So whats the point they serve no purpose but to waste police time which I am sure is a crime.
