I wasnt judging you, i was merely responding to your post. We all try our best all of the time but sometimes there are factors that affect our ability to do just that.

Your case sounds similar to me. Another reason was the havoc I just knew he would cause, and use the children as wepons. I wanted to protect them from a similar pain I experieced, in short it devastated me and I needed councelling years later for all the pain I was unable to express then.....Waiting till now means they are all grown up and he can''t do that! I was more or less a single parent anyway as he helped out with nothing and I had to rely on my finances as he was always broke...
