I''m a respondent in a divorce petition and it seems that i''m getting shafted (excuse the expression) and i cant afford a solicitor so i''m hoping i can get some help on here to wade through the different language that is the legal system.

Most of us start our divorce journey completely clueless about all the laws, processes and jargon. You''ve been lucky to find this site so early. I don''t know how I''d have got this far without it - so much information and incredible support from people who really do understand what I am going through.
