This is a post for awareness, A Khulla is name given to Islamic Divorce whereby a woman wishes to leave a marriage. The Condition of a Khulla is that she forsakes her right to assets as Husband is left with the Children to care for in most cases. All is well until 5 years later she may start Civil proceedings despite the woman having being married and divorced Islamically to 2 other men. Their is no mention at all on form E. I warn everyone not to be victim to this dilemma, Petition at the earliest as she will come after all assets you have accumulated during 5 years of
Islamic divorce.

In fact even a civil divorce as you say, well it''s no protection in the way you may think, it''s imperative that all those who divorce through court, and by that I mean county court have a Consent Order to agree a settlement and limit future claims.

For the OP, your concern is assets generated in the five years of separation, it us a valid concern, though probably not the disaster you may think.
