Hi all,
I am Roy I was divorced in 2016, since then I have been accused of breaking many court orders , all completely wrong.
My daughter is just about to cease full time education, which means the house can be put on the market.

Unfortunately, after nine years my ex is causing issues again. I have had not written confirmation that the house is being put on the market, as per the court order. She has instructed an estate agent to put it on the market even though it is solely in my name, Finally, she has refuses to have more than one valuation.

I can only imagine that this is the tip of the iceberg.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

What is the precise wording of the order in relation to the sale?
AFAIK if it is is your name only it cannot be finalised without your agreement or intervention from the courts if that's not forthcoming.
I would ensure the estate agents are aware of the situation.

the wording in the court order is
i."the property shall not be sold without prior written consent from both parties"
ii. the youngest surviving of the children turning 18 ceasing full time secondary or tertiary education"...
Those are the two main issues. You are correct in stating that the estate agent could not proceed without my authorisation and they didn't. Since I posted that question it seems that my ex's new solicitor has advised her to agree to an alternative estate agent valuing the property.

So thankyou for you reply. Hopefully this may help someone else in the same position.
