Hello,

I am at the end of my rope. Long story short, my ex husband (soon to be ex husband) had a secret family which I had no idea about for two years. He is not admitting that the child is his and has basically washed his hands with our daughter. He doesn’t see her or ask about her.

we are current going through divorce however, he is not providing his financial information… what happens next if he doesn’t supply this? I really need a financial settlement as can’t afford to run our house (joint mortgage) on my own.

any help with be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your situation.
If he won't provide financial disclosure you may have to make a form A application to court to force him to do so. Depending on his financial position this could include application for maintenance pending suit to help pay the housing costs while finances are sorted out.
You should attempt mediation before applying to court but can get exemption if things are urgent.

If your current home is larger than you need you may have to move somewhere smaller and more affordable as part of any settlement. It all depends on your needs and the means you have between you to meet them.
