My husband said a lot of thoses things to me the night he blurted out you''d better sit down I''ve got something to say, and it''s serious! He said I ground him down nothing was ever good enough he just doesn''t look at me that way anymore etc etc. I said we need to talk about it. He said there''s nothing to say I''ve made my mind up. I knew something was bothering him and asked a number of times what was wrong, he said nothing I''m just tired. I truly believed that as we had a lot of changes and work going on over a couple of years. Some of the things he said to me are true I have been like that at times but then I didn''t realise I was depressed, I see now how over a period time he was detaching himself from me and I actually did say to him I don''t know what''s wrong with you it seems as if every time you come home you want to cause an argument, (he did say hes changed) and that''s out of character for my husband. Well an hour after he walked out the door he went back to the town where he works and hey presto to ow who he''d been working with for a number of years. I found this out a week later, I didn''t tell him I knew I just let him lie to me for 2 months then I gave them a surprise confrontation, that shocked him. He said he was going to leave it 6 months then tell me he''d met someone to ''soften the blow''. He swears blind he didn''t have a relationship with her before he left me, yet he''s lived with her ever since, over a year. Also text I found on his phone saying love you always and forever, missing you like crazy etc that''s not something you would say a couple of days after starting a relationship in your 40s, or am I just old fashioned.
