Just keep doing more of the same. I still haven''t found the answer to your question but I think they have a mid-life crisis and think the grass is greener and as my stbx said, ''I''m starting a new life now...''. So hard to accept.

Actually, I am finding that looking at life in a fresh way is kid of ok. Not really where I thought I would be at 43 but ok just the same. I really think I should have been thinking like this during my marriage. I know it would have made a HUGE difference in how I acted as a married man. To look at the future as a fresh slate WITH my partner would have been empowering. Oh well...

So, my message to you is to look at your future as a whole new life as well. I hope you can get to the point where you''re excited about that. It''s scary - I know...
