Hi Guys and Gals

What a Xmas. Went down to the Inlaws and it was terrible. Spent half the time on out own (Wife and I) as they went off and did their own thing

They have never accepted me. Don't know why, but they couldn't make it more obvious that they dislike me, from the rubbish presents they get me compared to everybody else and the way they hardly even talk to me.

I am still so confused, as to whether to get divorce made absolute or not.

Wife is now guilt tripping me to move to same area as her family as we are currently hours away. She "reckons" this will make everything right.

I personally do not think this will help. If they don't accept me now, why would they if we lived close to them.

Any ideas??

had to read your previous posts as didn't know your situation.I dont think relocating again to another area is going to make any difference to your situation, the house may be different but the people in it would be the same. it might just be the "right thing" for your partner but I doubt whether you'll feel it's right for you.I would wonder why the move, is she making certain she'll get all the support she needs from her family by you moving in close proximity to them first, it would be that much easier then for her to apply for the absolute and manage quite nicely.Call me suspicious or what?
took me over 30 years to come to my senses and all those wasted years of my life being very unhappy, depressed, low self esteem, bullied, and emotionally abused by a very controlling person.finally got the guts to fight and divorce.life passes by very quickly and we should have some happiness in our lives.Noeone can make your decision for you but don't be fooled by promises which may or may not be genuine.
When you dread each day being the same as previous days then your heart and mind are trying to tell you something?it's hard to let go if you still love someone but how much are you prepared to take?only you can answer that and only you can make the decisions for yourself, except your partner could apply for the abs if she decided to so that decision may be taken for you.
