This is all about my husbands ex wanting her nominal maintenance order varied upward.
No settlement at the FDR back in November and no big surprise there as my husband is never going to offer her anything...she has managed without since 2009,and his income is only around £1000 a month.

Anyway, the final hearing is on the 16th February and he has just received a "Supplemental" questionnaire, wanting a load of documents which are not going to alter anything. The solicitor actually write that they understand there is no permission to submit these questions but intend to apply to the court to grant it.

Can she get away with this so close to the FH? Will he get the chance to attend court and register his objections to this? Will the final hearing be adjourned as it is not likely he can get all this information in a few days anyway to say nothing of the cost of obtaining it. (It is things like three years worth of bank statements relating to a company he no longer has any association with)

Thanks for any advice

Seems nobody had any ideas on this, but never mind,he has not answered them and now another letter has come from her solicitor.
Firstly, there is a Statement of costs of £3000. I assume she is planning to pay this herself as there is no way my husband has this sort of money.
Despite her application being for £375 per month this has now jumped to £600 per month, despite the judge at the FDR already saying any order,if there is one, will not be more than £100 per month, which is not affordable either!
It really seems as if all the bank statements and information over the last ten months have been a waste of time as neither she nor the two different solicitors she has engaged have actually read anything or they would see it is glaringly obvious there is no money for her to have!
I am beginning to feel we will never, ever be free of this terrible woman.
