Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there has been to court to request an order to increase their spousal maintenace. If so...what happened. I have asked my husband directly for an increase (it was set 3 and a half years ago. ) and obviously he is not interested.. I requested to see his earnings so we could work something out and he has not responded. If I apply to the court my understanding is that we have to do the E form all over again. At the time he insisted he had no intention of cohabiting and a couple of months after the court hearing he had moved in with his partner. Will the fact that he is now sharing costs bear any weight in court.
Thank you for your time and I would appreciate some comments please.

When it was set was there any formula in place to increase it?

How long is it payable for? In the past you have said it ends on his retirement. Did you get this clarified as he may use this as a good time to retire?

Why do you need it to increase? What has changed?
