Hello,

I am in the process of submitting my form E as my ex has applied to court for the financial relief application.

I have a few queries regarding this and would greatly appreciate advice please

I initially offered him a Clean Break however he declined this.

In terms of section 3.2

Capital needs for myself- I would like to buy a house for us in the school area of choice. I also want to get a decent car. Are these reasonable?

I don''t know what to put in capital needs for my son. He is nearly 3 and my my helps with child care ATM.

In section 5 order sought

I wanted a clean break if possible. I also wanted him to return the 20k I put in his company. He does not consider it to be a loan.

Any suggestions please?

Yes it''s reasonable to want to have a decent house and car, as long as the house meets your needs and doesn''t "over-house" you.

See this post for an extensive list of what to consider when filling out the capital needs section - Form E - Capital Needs

Do you currently live in the school area of choice?

Would it be more expensive than where you currently live?

Thanks for the quick responses. My son and I live in a tenanted accommodation Close to my workplace sas I can as I did not drive till six months ago. I wanted to move into it and nice 2 bed house atleast with a little garden and if possible close to a good infant/ primary school.

Double my expenses on the house as the mortgage would be considerably higher.
