Hi
Hope this is in the right place. I have applied to have my Consent Order enforced in Switzerland, and I am just waiting for the Swiss authorities to do their bit.
My question is will my ex husband be able to appeal anything? Or will he have to apply for to vary the Order in the U.K. ?
Thanks

Hi there

slightly confused that you are enforcing in Switzerland, are you resident there?

If Order was sealed and signed in the U.K. variation should be at the court where the original case was heard.

Hi Tink
Thanks for replying. And I live in the U.K. (Where the Ordet was made) but my ex husband lives in Switzerland. Hence why REMO are involved now.

You have a sealed court order, you then go back to court for an order REMO use, its then sent to the counrty he is resident of, those authorities enforce it.

So he can`t appeal REMO they are only following the order, he could attempt to vary the original consent order of course but not REMO.

Thanks for replying. What you have posted is my understanding of the situation. Someone told me different, I just wanted to eliminate any doubt.
He's avoided paying for some years, it's taken seven months with REMO to get to this stage - I really don't want any more delays.
