Hello.

Can anyone direct me to a database of prior court determinations (either family court, or higher courts) on financial outcomes.

I'm preparing my settlement offer for an FDR coming up next month, and would really value reading prior cases to find ones similar to mine and know what outcome could await if we go all the way to trial. Clearly if I ask for too little now it's very hard to push for more in FDR negotiations, and settling at FDR would be ideal.

I don’t think there is a data base of actual outcomes but you could find a lot of information to give you an idea of possible splits on this website and the internet in general.

Starting point is usually 50:50 and housing children is a priority but every case is individual.

Post details of your ages, incomes, length of marriage including cohabitation before, children’s ages and all assets and someone will give you an idea.
