I have money in investment bonds. Can I put one of these in Trust for my grandchildren so it does not need to be declared as an asset?

If it makes, or is likely to make, a difference to the financial outcome the court can treat it as if the money is still yours.

What you could do is wait until the financial settlement is sorted then transfer your money into a Trust for your grandchildren. Once you have a financial agreement you can do what you like with the investments.
