i have been divorced for just over a year. my ex husband was in the army and did his 22yrs service before leaving and setting up his own business. we had been married for 17yrs and after a terrible divorce and having to drag him through the courts to achieve maintenance it was decided at court that i was not entitled to any of his pension rights because he was already in receipt of a % of it and it was classed as income when finalising the Consent Order. I feel cheated as when he is 55yrs(in 2yrs) his pension willdramatically increase because it was indexed linked. is this right?

The pension is just part of the picture. At what stage were the finances settled? Was it at a Final Hearing on the order of a judge or did you agree to a settlement? Were there other assets involved in the settlement??? What were they? How were they divided?
