Hi,

Do pensions get shared from the amount you have put in before divorce, or does it get shared whatever is paid in up until you retire ?

Normally there is a pencentage split applied in the order. Calculating how much has been paid into a pension is a folly as pension funds don't work like that. Added to which, with the current financial climate a lot of pensions are worth less that the payments made into them. They are long term investments and are expected to perform over a lengthy period of time.
