Just fought my way through the new LGPS website - calculator only gives the pension income after deduction of tax free lump sum ie it assumes that the optional tax free pension commencement lump sum will be taken and shows the resulting reduced income, not the best income available.

It confirms after pension sharing you could remain within the LGPS scheme with your normal pension age being 65 or under the rules you could transfer your share out to a different pension.
It doesn't say how your share of the pension will be dealt with if you leave it in the scheme.
For me that's the critical info: what income will your share of the pension produce for you at age 65 if you leave your share in the scheme?
I'd want to know that before choosing between sharing and offsetting.
