Pension Advice

I'm in the process of getting divorced and have questions about my pensions.

I have a company pension, recently valued at £25k and I have also opted out of SERPS and the value of this fund is around £12k.

I am 40 years old and we were married for 7 years, splitting up in Jan '09

I have never contributed to the SERPs pension and most of this was accrued before the marriage.

The company pension was started before we got married but most of the contributions have been during the marriage.

Can someone give me ball park figures as to how much a fair settlement should be?

Any other advice welcome, thanks.

As ever the starting point is 50/50 and then the factors of MCA are applied. If you can provide the information requested in post the financial forum (please read before posting) peeps can give you more input/feedback/guestimates.
