You dont have to accept the 'CETV' supplied by the other party's pension provider. Did you know that? If you have ever successfully queried the CETV during Ancillary Relief proceedings and succeeded, or have questions, I know the readers will be very interested in the mechanics.

What are the mechanics of querying the CETV,
Family Law Clinic Ltd?
You're in the divorce business - you tell us.
When you've given us the information we might be able to judge how family law/Ancillary Relief orientated you are.

Your website says :
"As lay advisers, we are independent of the Law Society and Bar Standards Board"
Are you regulated at all?

The CETV was produced by the scheme's own actuary and could not be questioned.
It was a reduced amount because the scheme was underfunded.
How could the CETV be queried?

If you think the CETV is inaccurate you have the option of jointly instructing an actuary who will produce a report that can be used in court.

Its best to have a solicitor to instruct the actuary as they are best placed to ask the right questions.
