Thans for your help. We are just about to discuss financial settlement in next few weeks, which is why I wanted to be sure where I stood.

The value of the house is approx £275K at last valuation, we have no mortgage and joint savings 70K and endownments approx £60K (mature 2011).

Unfortunately I have no income although seeking work at present, so will need a reasonable proportion of savings to live on until then. He is on a salary of 45K and has a rented flat. I have a small pension CETV 41K.

Not sure how this leaves me at present. Advice appreciated.

You'll have considered doing a "mesher" - stay put until eg the kids finish uni. etc then sell up and split the proceeds?
Not ideal - but better than giving up on pension sharing?
