As I can not afford a solicitor, is it possible to divorce and do a financial settlement and pensin sharing without one? He will not agree to anything other than the divorce.

Many people are in the same position, yes it can be done but you`ll have to do the work, lots of learning to be done, the good news is that wiki is tailored to help those who cannot afford solicitors, in fact there are solicitors who help answer questions on wiki.
