If they arent married and he is offering this then she should take it. Turns nasty seh gets at most 50% AND could get saddled with legal fees.
either pay NO FEES and take the 60% (which could dwindle significantly with legal fees) or spend yonks fighting.
if they can stay amicable then its for the best with kids involved.

shes got no right to pensions, or anythingthat isnt in joint names so not being married means she is getting a good deal...
