I am currently going thru a divorce and the court process to come to a financial settlement. At the FMH WHICH I still jointly own I have on the a drive a classic car which was left to me by my late father and this was also to be my sons inheritance And also 2 motorbike. My ex''s solicitor wrote to me stating I had 2 weeks to remove them to which I replied as I am still joint owner of the property I would not move the items until the financial side was sorted as this would give me the money to enable me to move them and have them put in storage to which I got no reply. (The financial side is going to stage to at court on the 24th)My ex has since disposed of all vehicles (I became aware on the Friday just gone) All vehicles were in my name and owned by myself. The police say it is a civil matter. Any advice please

Disposed of how? sold set fire too, do you have the titles for all of them?.

Steal her car and sell it then when she reports it to the police they will say that it is a civil matter.

Unlikely, it could be that although the gent is part owner of the house it is no longer considered his home which is why I asked when he left.

It has been 3 years since I left. All vehicles are in my name and are owned by myself. She has had a letter from my solicitor stating that until the financial side is sorted she must not dispose of any of my property as she had previously sold my tools on ebay. They were taken by a scrap merchant. Also it was explained that until I got my equity out of the property (70000 each after mortgage is paid off) I could not afford to move them and put them into storage

This is what I worried about, after three years it would not be considered your home even though you own it, it would have been far wiser to remove them when asked, the police won''t help at all.
