I think my option is to get it sorted as part of financial settlement which is what she was told by solicitor if she did dispose of any more of my property

The thing is though, she gave you enough warning and notice to collect them after you had left them there for 3 years. Just exactly how long do you expect her to keep your property for you? You said you havent worked for the past 6 months and couldnt afford to move them, what about the 2 and a half years prior to this? And as cookie stated, if she sold your tools on ebay what did you expect? Did you respond to her request for you to remove them?

Yes I replied to her request stating that after finances were sorted I would be able to afford to move them.
